• Surfing : The two-mile long beach in Lahinch is an excellent beachfor surfing, no matter what your ability is.  It has a variety of breaks that cater for novice, intermediate and experienced surfers.  Five miles further south from Lahinch you will find Spanish Point, which is another perfect surfing beach.  Both beaches are among some of the best places in Europe to learn surfing with the advantage of the slower rolling Atlantic waves.

• Kite Surfing : learn to kite surf with Orbitalwinds on one of the best beaches in Ireland. Lahinch beach is located only 2km from the Hostel. The instructors from Orbitalwinds are IKO certified and offer a range of Kitesurfing courses to suit budget and ability. Learn why this is the most exciting sport to hit Ireland. • Golf : for the dedicated Golfer, with Championship Links and Parkland courses within easy reach. http://www.lahinchgolf.com/ is the closet Golf Club, only 2 km from the hotel and it has two courses. The Old Course, lying between the road and the sea, is one of the most superior sites in Ireland. The second course, the Castle Course, is a flatter links named for the ruins of a nearby castle tower that stands to the northern end of the property.
